Solo obtains environmental license for its recycling unit

Solo obtained the environmental license to start the activities in its recycling unit. This unit has an area of 30000 m2, near the Fernão Dias highway (BR-381) in São Gonçalo do Sapucaí, state of Minas Gerais.

The site will be used to receive scrap materials and recycling of blades and other windmill components.

Piauí is the new frontier for wind power market in Brazil

After analyzing the investments made by the German company Enercon GmbHi, a traditional wind turbine manufacturer, which bought Capisa Farm with more than 21,000 hectares of land in Pio IX in the south of the state for the construction of a wind farm, Helena Chung, an analyst of Bloomberg New Energy Finance, said that Piauí is the new frontier for the wind energy market in Brazil.

Brazilian senate approves creation of wind and solar power plants at sea

Resume:

The Plenary approved this Tuesday (18) Senate Bill (PLS 484/2017) authorizing the implementation of sea power plants for the power generation from wind and solar sources. The platforms can be installed in the territorial sea (up to 22 kilometers from the coast) and in the exclusive economic zone (up to 370 kilometers).
